Business before technology
Architecture, process, and hiring choices should follow the company strategy and the constraint that matters now.
I'm Mikael Danielian, an engineering leader who works across technical strategy, architecture, delivery, and team development.

Experience in context
15+ years
I started as a full-stack developer and grew into engineering leadership, so I am comfortable moving between a business objective, an architecture decision, and the day-to-day reality of a team delivering software.
My experience spans startups and established companies across fintech, healthcare, SaaS, and e-commerce. I have led teams, launched products, mentored engineers, and helped organizations make difficult technical tradeoffs with more clarity.
The goal is not simply to produce recommendations. It is to help your organization make better decisions and keep operating well after the engagement ends.
Architecture, process, and hiring choices should follow the company strategy and the constraint that matters now.
I look for observable risks, delivery signals, and clear tradeoffs instead of importing a generic transformation playbook.
The team should leave with stronger judgment, clearer ownership, and systems it can continue improving independently.
